Employment opportunities at the shop!:
(1): Full time staff member. Bayside Blades will be expanding its product range into ice hockey and ice figure skates! This coincides with the opening of the 2 new Olympic sized ice rinks at Docklands later this year/early next year.
This has opened an opportunity for another fulltime person in the shop to balance the efforts of Jenny and Cuong who are doing the most fabulous work at the moment, but are a bit stretched! Ideally, the person will be adult aged and have an interest/involvement in ice skating sports. However, figure skating/quad skating and speed skating background/ interest will be highly regarded.This position is long term only and will not suit someone looking at just filling in time waiting for something else. We have a comprehensive staff training and development system in place and are committed to the personal development of our staff.
(2). Junior casual: We also need a junior staff person for casual work. Ideally aged between 15 and 18 to work some shifts after school, Saturdays or Sundays.
(3). Data entry: Our data entry position that
was advertised in the last news snippets has been filled but it has been identified that this position can now be extended to 5 days a week. The current
person is going great guns but has other commitments. This role can be job shared quite easily, so there is an opportunity for someone to fill the gap, and
would suit someone with data entry experience looking for part time work for 2 to 3 days a week.
