These wheels were the: ATOM - FLY Crossover 84a (yellow hub clear wheel) and the: ATOM - FLY 1.1 110mm 85a (Pink in colour)
I tested these wheels over a couple of weeks on various surfaces and grades, varying from concrete, polished and textured along with varying grades of bitumen.
These wheels are primarily designed as Track wheels (banked track not indoor) however both performed very well on the road surface.
Both sets of wheels performed very well through turns at lower and higher speeds and in a straightline.
As these are track wheels they are designed to get maximum grip through the turns, and to say the least atom have really delivered here. on a polished concrete surface they had more grip than the bont mints and more than the atom ones (black hub)
On the slightly rougher surface the Crossover performed a little better, as they were not quite as hard as the pink Fly, and give a little bit more rebound under foot.
The Crossovers did not mix well with the atom one black hubs due to the fact that they were too hard to mix in and were much better with the atom one orange hubs which were closer to the hardness but made them roll even more. (you may have seen that recently Joey Mantia and Max Presti won and placed second in some world cups with this setup)
I think that this is a combination that would prove to be quite effective at dandenong providing a large amount of roll without compromising grip.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask me.
